  • October 3: Concert on the Gregg Museum Lawn: Shirlette Ammons.
    Bring a picnic blanket and friends, and experience music and community this fall on the Gregg Museum’s front lawn.

  • November 20: The Gregg Museum is partnering with Griot & Grey Owl in conjunction with their annual Black Southern Writers Conference. Distinguished poets Khalisa Rae, Eric Thompson, Gale Freenlee, and Mara Tavarez from Griot & Grey Owl will facilitate a writing activity in the Gregg’s galleries. Participants will engage in discussion and reflection afterwards. This program is in conjunction with the exhibition Words = Power (October 30, 2025 – February 28, 2026). This event is free but registration is required. Spots are limited. Please register here.
